But if you didn't want to get into all of that just get a couple 1X3's and frame that little section out... great way to hide future add-on piping or electrical. bought my first house a year ago, and have been figuring things out as I go. its actually easier than you’d think to move a pipe out of the way. The dining room looks great! I like the idea about polishing the copper pipes.
